Current preclinical and clinical drug testing relies heavily on animal-derived data and research products.

  • Animal models do not fully mimic human responses and lack differences in age, sex, ethnicity, and disease status.
  • Animal-derived products, such as Matrigel-derived from mouse tumor tissue—are unreliable and often produce false results.
  • Mouse tissue is in short supply and expensive, hampering the level of research required to address today’s health epidemics.

Current preclinical and clinical drug testing does not include representation of the diverse patient populations that these drugs are intended to treat.

  • We have a repository of 200+ cell donors that represent a diverse population and can be classified by age, sex, race, BMI, and disease state. These cells are incorporated into our Fat-on-a-Chip and Obesity-on-a-Chip models to represent targeted populations for drug screening.

Human-derived hydrogels

  • Our ObaGel® matrices are derived from human tissues and designed to support functional organoid models that recapitulate the human in vivo environment in in vitro models.
  • ObaGel® matrices excel in supporting and maintaining crucial functional characteristics of cells, including proliferation, differentiation, vascularization, and immunogenic responses, thereby surpassing the limitations inherent in traditional methods such as 2D culture and the use of single-source or single-protein matrices.

Cell Culture Media

  • We offer cell culture medias specially formulated to support maintenance and multi-lineage differention of human mesenchymal stem cells. These mediums pair seamlessly with our cells, hydrogels, and organ-on-chip models.
