LaCell LLC and Obatala Sciences, Inc. Announce Grant Award with the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS)

New Orleans, LA – LaCell LLC and Obatala Sciences, Inc., disruptive biotechnology startups in the field of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine received a grant for $235k on May 1st. The grant was endowed by National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) for the creation of a universal medium that can support the survival of multiple tissues derived from human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), in a microphysiological system.
